Blood Donation Locations

Donating Blood is a requirement during C4MH Testosterone Replacement Therapy:

As Testosterone is the primary hormone in the production of red blood cells the replacement therapy may increase red blood cell production, this can be beneficial if you have anemia (low blood counts). However, it can be a potential health problem if your hemoglobin and or hematocrit gets too high. C4MH requires that TRT patients donate blood at least twice annually during therapy which usually eliminates the condition. C4MH will monitor your initial red cell count (hematocrit / hemoglobin) at the beginning of therapy then again at 12 weeks and then again 3 to 4 times a year in house through a simple finger prick blood test.

Below are links to donor centers in Florida, certain indicated links will also give Bloodmobile locations.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO DISCLOSE YOUR TESTOSTERONE THERAPY WHEN DONATING, AS IT IS DONE UNDER A PHYSICIANS CARE IN THE OFFICE.
Their needle question is for those that have used needles for non-medical / illicit use.

C4MH recommends ONE BLOOD and SUNCOAST BLOOD BANK.

Patients should avoid hospital based blood donation centers like Lee Memorial, etc.
